Fundraiser’s heartfelt thanks to all

Matamata Chronicle - - News/opinion -

First of all I would like to thank the Chronicle for letting me take part in the Tower Run to raise money for the people of Christchurch.

I would really like to thank the staff at the National Bank for managing the Walking for Christchurch fund.

I would like to thank the Tower Run marshalls. They kept us from running when we should have been walking.

It was a pleasure to take part in the Tower Run with such an enthusiastic group of young people. I admire your stamina and courage, and regard all of you as the future leaders of our society.

Finally to all the people who sponsored me, words can’t express how grateful I am to you. We raised a total of $6010.

The end result was so great for what I consider doing so little and receiving so much. It made it all very worth while and it is terrific what people have done.

I would also like to acknowledge other Christchurch earthquake fundraisers. In times of so many natural disasters, it makes it even more important for us to share and care, and help those who are in need.

Thank you, thank you, thank you and God bless you all.
