Crucial difference

Matamata Chronicle - - News/opinion -

Oh what a difference a week makes.

It was with great disappointment that I read the article about the little children who are striving to get pumps to control their diabetes.

Last week we read all about type 1 diabetes with a very detailed story about the pump and how it works; it was great.

This week we have, with the flick of a pen, five years work done by Rochelle Richardson, who has talked to nearly every service group in Matamata to educate the public about the difference between type 1 and type 2 diabetes, turned into complete confusion through incorrect editing so it is very disappointing for everyone connected with diabetes. The children needing pumps are type 1 not 2 as quoted in last week’s paper. Signed, upset nana.
