First-year Kiwi international cyclist Louis Wright added a victory to his season at the one-day race Prix de St Lupicin last weekend.

Two weeks ago the Matamata 18 year old opened his international palmeres when he claimed the yellow, U23 and King of the Mountain jerseys in the Tour du Pays de Seyssel.

With another victory, Wright validated his decision to swap plans to attend university to follow his dream of racing in Europe.

Wright races for French amateur cycling team, Veloclub Morteau. He is due back in New Zealand in October.
