Plunket gains from what women want

Matamata Chronicle - - News -

Matamata Plunket has teamed up with Farmers and fashion stylist Lisa O’Neill to bring Matamata women all the fashion advice they need to spruce up their wardrobe.

What a Woman Wants is a twoand-a-half-hour comedy-filled show travelling the country to raise money for Plunket.

It covers body shapes, accessories and makeup while previewing the new spring/summer fashion range from Farmers.

Stylist Lisa O’Neill has been running motivational workshops for the past five years to help women to look the very best they can. ‘‘I love the challenge of working with women who have given up all hope of looking good because of a change in body shape or income,’’ she said.

‘‘Many women I work with are shopping constantly but still have nothing to wear. My philosophy is that having the right stuff is better than having lots of stuff.’’

Matamata Plunket branch president Janelle Burnside said the show was a chance for women to take some time out. ‘‘This is great for women in Matamata. The show is a great night out, people are guaranteed to laugh their socks off and never have that feeling of nothing to wear again.’’

What a Woman Wants will take place on Wednesday August 24 at the Memorial Hall at 7.30pm. For more information or to purchase tickets please contact Mrs Burnside on 021 117 8087.
