Trade game building up

Matamata Chronicle - - News -

Matamata Christian School’s Grow The Seed fundraising campaign has now grown from $13.80 into $240 worth of goods.

Five people and businesses have jumped on board with the initiative in an attempt to trade up from $13.80 to $800,000 and there is still room for more people to join in the game.

Kid on the Rock Foundation and Matamata Christian School Board of Trustees chairman Spence Reichardt is pleased with the wonderful support they have received from the community.

‘‘We have traded up through a continuous chain of trades and are looking forward to that continuing as we grow towards our goal of funding a school hall,’’ he said.

‘‘Based on the premise that something has a value to someone, this is an ‘‘everyone wins’’ fundraising game as you will receive our item of trade in return for yours.’’ Bishop Family – two hand crafted beanies and an iPod USB lead.
