Re­tail­ers urged to be alert for fake $20 notes

Po­lice urge all re­tail­ers to be aware fake $20 notes are cir­cu­lat­ing after one was used at a lo­cal ser­vice sta­tion.

The note is a very close replica to a real note and has the se­rial

num­ber BA06235969. A 19-year-old man was ar­rested and charged with theft from a per­son in a spe­cial re­la­tion­ship, in this case it was his em­ployer. Of­fences oc­curred in June. Overnight an ad­dress on Rata St was bur­gled

A 49-year-old man was ar­rested for pos­ses­sion of cannabis, cannabis uten­sils and a knife.

Two men were ar­rested for breach of the peace. An 18 and 34 year old man were ar­rested after po­lice were called to a Broad­way ad­dress.

Two hours later three men aged 18, 19 and 30 were ar­rested at a Tawari St ad­dress and charged with breach of peace.
