Learn to manage money
With New Zealand households now spending $ 1.15 for every dollar earned, national debt counselling charity Christians Against Poverty has announced that it will be offering local residents in Matamata the chance to get their finances on track and under control with a free money management course called CAP Money.
The charity has equipped Matamata Baptist Church to run the simple three-week course that teaches good money management skills, budgeting tips and advice on how to handle money wisely.
The course is open to everyone, is free and is being held on October 13, 20, 27 at the Baptist Church, Tower Rd at 7pm lounge.
Alan, who recently attended the course said: ‘‘CAP Money has changed my life immeasurably. The peace of mind afforded by the knowledge of where my money is actually going has affected every aspect of my life.The gratitude I feel for this system is indescribable.’’
