Pets highlight of school term

Matamata Chronicle - - News -

Lambs, goats and calves were groomed to perfection, well behaved and lazing in the sun at last week’s Agriculture days around Matamata. Hinuera Primary, Matamata Intermediate and Walton Primary schools had their Ag Days last week which was the highlight of the term for many of the children.

Many who take their pets to their school Ag days also take them to the annual Matamata A&P show on October 9 or the Group Ag Day on October 12 held at Bedford Park.

Group Ag day organisers are on the lookout for extra sheep judges so if your interested or want to register please contact Linda Lee on 888 0017.

Look out for our paper next week to see Ag Day pictures from other mata.
