The affiliated module provides a pathway for talented Matamata players, with players from the module taking part in the Waikato Touch Rep Programme.
Shannon offers support to her team in terms of development, competition and travel.

Carol is the junior umpire coordinator for the Matamata Netball Centre. She oversees and supports the junior umpire squad which consists of umpires between the ages of 11 and 13.
There has been a vast improvement in the skill base of umpires at the centre which is directly related to the programme being implemented by Carol. She has created a positive environment for the junior umpires so that they benefit and progress with confidence and assurance.
– nominated by Matamata Amateur Swimming Club. Graeme is the coach for the Matamata Swimming Club.
The competitive squad is comprised of mainly younger swimmers and Graeme has a long term plan for these swimmers. Graeme’s strengths lie in his ability to ‘‘read’’ his athletes. He knows how to encourage, motivate and discipline.
He uses humour, strong communication and leadership skills to get results.
