Santa Pa­rade floats pro­vide fun all around

The Mata­mata Pub­lic Re­la­tions As­so­ci­a­tion Santa Pa­rade 2011 was an­other great suc­cess.

Pa­rade or­gan­iser Natalie Wilson said the Mata­mata PRA would like to thank ev­ery­one for their sup­port.

‘‘ Es­pe­cially the lawyers for do­nat­ing Santa’s lol­lies; Tainui Press for print­ing and do­nat­ing the posters; the Mata­mata Com­mu­nity Board, Mata­mata Lions Club; and the Mata­mata Ki­wa­nis for all their hard work on the day with Pa­rade man­age­ment,’’ she said.

‘‘There were a num­ber of new en­tries this year, and it was great to see the new and unique ideas that the float de­sign­ers had come up with.

‘‘ We look for­ward to see­ing ev­ery­one at the 2012 Pa­rade.’’ The win­ners for this year are: Best Over­all Float: J Swap Con­trac­tors
