Santa guest visits after Scottish dance class
Children twirled around the hall in their Scottish attire at the end of year dance held at the Hinuera Hall on Saturday, December 3.
More than 50 people from Hinuera Scottish Country Dancing Club along with clubs from Te Kuiti, Tokoroa, Cambridge, Hamilton and Tauwhare all joined together to dance and share afternoon tea.
Santa arrived once the dancing had wrapped up much to the delight of all the children.
Organiser Inge Schiffer said it was great for all of those involved to come along and dance together.
‘‘It is a way to get everyone together from other clubs and the kids just love it.’’
The club, which has been in Hinuera for just over a year, meets on Monday afternoons to practice.
