Marchers put their best feet forward
Eleven teams arrived at the Matamata Leisure Marching Display Day despite the rainy start to take part and strut their stuff.
Looking smart in their team uniforms, each group performed a choreographed dance to the supportive audience.
Many of the teams used the day as a lead- up to the National Display in Dunedin which will be held at the end of the month.
The two Matamata teams, the Kaimai Rangers and Kaimai Guards, participated and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it.
Deputy Mayor Jan Barnes welcomed the marchers to town, many of whom had travelled from around the North Island. Laura Mckoy went along to capture the action.
