Attacks prompt information call
Police are asking for help after two aggravated robberies in Matamata over the past week.
The first robbery was on March 13 when two men were assaulted by three men near the skate park late at night.
The attackers drove away in a grey or dark coloured four-door sedan.
The second incident happened about 4am on Friday, March 16, when two offenders attacked a person on Smith St.
They drove away in white four-door sedan.
Both incidents involved items being taken.
Police do not believe the incidents are related but are looking for information about them.

An 18-year-old man was arrested for breach of bail
Two teenagers were arrested for fighting at the intersection of Waharoa East Rd and Broadway.
In the early hours two 17- year- old youths were dealt with for a breach of the liquor ban on Broadway. Liquor was seized from the pair.
A 20-year-old man was arrested for an assault in which the victim’s arm was broken.
An 18- year- old woman was arrested in relation to the previous assault. Saturday, March 17
7.51pm: Responded to a medical assist in Matamata. Sunday, March 18 2.30am: Responded to a skip on fire at Seddon St in Waharoa.
