Mr Bru­ins takes plea­sure in car­ry­ing on Barry’s good work and stick­ing to what the busi­ness has al­ways been: ‘‘Giv­ing young­sters with a de­cent amount of dairy ex­pe­ri­ence from over­seas a good time in New Zealand and let­ting the farm­ers en­joy their pres­ence as well.

‘‘The young peo­ple are al­ways the same age but we’re get­ting a lit­tle bit older; it does keep you on your toes,’’ he said.
