Couple offer parents tips

Matamata Chronicle - - News - By KATRINA LINTONBON

Amy Martin is a real advocate for positive parenting and when the opportunity came up for her to bring Brian and Sally Burgess to Matamata to present the Practical Parenting Seminar, she jumped at the chance.

Mr and Mrs Burgess are passionate about equipping parents to raise extraordinary kids. Kids who are happy, confident, successful respectful and positive contributors to their family, school and later the society in which they live.

Mrs Martin said she would encourage any parents in Matamata to go along for a look.

‘‘They have some really good advice,’’ she said.

The Practical Parenting Seminar will take place at the Matamata Baptist Church on Tuesday March 27 and Wednesday March 28.

The parenting seminar begins at 7pm and finishes at 9pm.

Tickets for the parenting seminar can be purchased at Hurricane Computers or Matamata Baptist Church or by contacting Amy Martin on 880 9061.
