Clocks go back
New Zealand Daylight Saving will end Sunday, April 1, when 3am becomes 2am.
People may find it convenient to put their clocks back by one hour before going to bed on Saturday, March 31.
As well as the time to change clocks, the end of daylight saving is an opportune time to check household emergency plans, survival items and home smoke alarms.
The daylight saving period runs from the last Sunday in September until the first Sunday in April each year. This year daylight saving starts on September 30.
