New uniforms no problem
Matamata Intermediate’s Future Problem Solving team will be heading to the United States next month in brand new team New Zealand uniforms.
The uniforms were provided by local business Daltons and include a shirt, jacket and hat.
Neil and Judith Dalton said they were happy they were able to do something to help out the team.
‘‘It’s something we are very proud of from our town – that the girls have achieved that level of excellence in the competition,’’ said Mr Dalton.
Principal Marion Henriksen also showed her support by allowing the girls to hold a mufti day at the school with all proceeds going towards their trip.
The team are very close to reaching their fundraising goal and along with their parents would like to thank the whole community for their support – particularly the Daltons, who have been a ‘‘major help’’.
