Play paves the way to learning
Want quality care for your child? Come to Kids Rock Early Learning Centre in Tirau.
Set in the hub of a rural town, Kids Rock is passionate about the simple things in life that are now memories.
The centre uncovers these by adding simple touches of natural environment; a beautiful garden, a fun mud-pit, a lovely waterfall in the sandpit, lengthy and interesting bike track, mock river bed of rocks and sensory gardens.
Complementing these are qualified and experienced teachers, excellent childteacher ratios and a curriculum to ensure the centre supports children’s learning and interests.
Teachers at Kids Rock are passionate about the world they live in.
To sustain the children’s wellbeing, morning and afternoon tea is provided as well as a hot hearty lunch with pudding.
Children at Kids Rock learn through play and forming relationships with their caregivers and other children so they become socially confident and self- regulating in time for starting their school lives.
One of the main aspects of school preparedness is the ability of the child to self-regulate, concentrate and have self-confidence.
Kids Rock children enter school ready for continued learning with good experiences on which to base their learning.
Kids Rock teachers have been inspired by the respectful practices advocated by Emmi Pikler – an approach that is based on respect for children and forming well-adjusted and competent young learners.
Everyone is welcome to experience the centre.
