Stu­dents ea­ger for writ­ing tips

Mata­mata Pri­mary School stu­dents are be­ing en­cour­aged to write ev­ery day.

Aus­tralian au­thor Roslyn Mot­ter vis­ited the school on Mon­day and talked to stu­dents about be­ing an au­thor and shared ideas she has for her new­est book se­ries, The Doo Fuzz Dudes.

Teacher Gemma Steven­son said Ms Mot­ter gave the stu­dents great ad­vice on the im­por­tance of writ­ing and sug­gested they keep an ideas book.

Stu­dents who had pre-or­dered Ms Mot­ter’s lat­est book, The Doo Fuzz Dudes and the Fear­less For­est Fight­ers re­ceived a signed copy.

Three in­ter­me­di­ate stu­dents who re­viewed and gave feed­back to Ms Mot­ter on her book the Fear­less For­est Fighter last year also went along to join in, meet Ms Mot­ter and pick up a signed copy.
