Op­por­tu­nity to gain con­fi­dence

The tal­ent quest was an an­nual event and helped stu­dents to build con­fi­dence and show off their skills, said Ms Atkins.

Broth­ers Ciaran and Ai­den O’Mal­ley hosted this year’s show, por­tray­ing a range of com­i­cal char­ac­ters to keep the crowd en­ter­tained.

Year 9 band The Al­liance, com­pris­ing Daniel Lans­daal, Owen Steven­son and Ja­cob Lawrence, was named best band.

The Anony­mous Dancer won best dance, Emeliano Pereyra took out best vo­cals and Tim­o­thy Gray was awarded best in­stru­men­tal.

Judges were gui­tar teacher Scotty Cran­well, year 9 dean Chris­tine Wil­liams, drama teacher Na­talie Wright and mu­sic stu­dent Bryleigh Tel­far.

Im­pres­sive: Jes­sica Floyd-Crabbe gave a strong per­for­mance of Adele’s Rolling in the Deep.

Mys­te­ri­ous: The Anony­mous Dancer took out the award for best dance.
