See top squash players in action
Some of the top women’s squash players in the world will be competing in Matamata next week.
United Matamata Squash Club is set to host the Matamata Open, a Women’s Squash Association Silver 35 event.
New Zealand Commonwealth Games gold medallists Joelle King and Jaclyn Hawkes will be playing, along with Matamata local Kylie Lindsay, who has a world ranking of 46.
players Madeline Perry (World No 5), Annie Au ( World No 6) and Rachael Grinham (World No 9) will also be there.
The tournament will run from August 21 to 26 and is free to all members of the public.
