Badge sale sup­ports Kid­sline

Six colourful badges de­signed in the Kid­sline Great Big Badge De­sign Com­pe­ti­tion will be on sale from Septem­ber 3.

The badges will re­tail for $2 each and will be sold ex­clu­sively in Farm­ers depart­ment stores throughout New Zealand un­til Septem­ber 12.

Hun­dreds of Kiwi kids en­tered the com­pe­ti­tion with four win­ning de­signs by Jor­dyn MacDon­ald, Loren Ford, Maya Kal­bar­czyk and Natasha Tate se­lected as win­ners.

Daily deal op­er­a­tor GrabOne along with Fash­ion De­signer for World and com­pe­ti­tion judge Denise L’Es­trange- Cor­bet have also cre­ated badge de­signs to be sold along­side the chil­dren’s de­signs.

One hun­dred per cent of the pur­chase price from each badge sold will go back to Kid­sline to en­able them to continue to pro­vide sup­port to the grow­ing num­ber of chil­dren un­der 14 who call the ser­vice each year.

The Kid­sline Great Big Badge De­sign Com­pe­ti­tion was cre­ated to en­cour­age young Ki­wis to openly share and talk about their feel­ings, and to com­mu­ni­cate that hav­ing feel­ings of any kind is OK.
