Badge sale supports Kidsline
Six colourful badges designed in the Kidsline Great Big Badge Design Competition will be on sale from September 3.
The badges will retail for $2 each and will be sold exclusively in Farmers department stores throughout New Zealand until September 12.
Hundreds of Kiwi kids entered the competition with four winning designs by Jordyn MacDonald, Loren Ford, Maya Kalbarczyk and Natasha Tate selected as winners.
Daily deal operator GrabOne along with Fashion Designer for World and competition judge Denise L’Estrange- Corbet have also created badge designs to be sold alongside the children’s designs.
One hundred per cent of the purchase price from each badge sold will go back to Kidsline to enable them to continue to provide support to the growing number of children under 14 who call the service each year.
The Kidsline Great Big Badge Design Competition was created to encourage young Kiwis to openly share and talk about their feelings, and to communicate that having feelings of any kind is OK.
