Get in quick for masquerade ball

-

Matamata’s young people still have the chance to buy tickets for next Saturday’s fireand-ice themed masquerade ball.

Organised by local youth, the night will include a best-dressed competition, a dance contest, live music, and a DJ. Food and drinks will also be available.

The ball is open to any college-aged youth from Matamata, Morrinsville and Te Aroha. Ballgoers do not have to be enrolled at school.

‘‘It’s an opportunity for young people from all three towns to get together, dress up and have a great night out,’’ said organiser Jo McNaughton.

Two buses will run from each of the towns to transport people to and from the ball at Totara Springs Christian Camp.

No alcohol or drugs will be allowed.

Tickets are limited to 400 and are available at Starfish Social Services on Firth St or Matamata College.
