Dragon, a son of Waikato Stud stallion Pins, added the Hong Kong International Mile to his tally of major wins.

The new purchase will be trained in Hong Kong by Ricky Yiu and will race in the mauve with white crossed sashes and red cap Hennessy stable colours that have been displayed with such distinction in the past year by Ocean Park.

Racegoers have the choice of car boot spots, mini marquees and various other packages to get the festive season off to a convivial start.

So log on to matamata racingclub.co.nz or contact the club office at 888 8898 and confirm your place at one of Matamata’s most popular racedays.
