Bruce proud of what he achieved in busi­ness

He stayed on part time do­ing quo­ta­tions and ad­min­istra­tion work un­til fin­ish­ing up in De­cem­ber.

‘‘I’m quite proud of what I’ve cre­ated,’’ Mr Rom­ley said.

‘‘I haven’t done it on my own. Diane has been in­volved as much as I have been and I’ve worked with some great peo­ple over the years.’’

Mr Rom­ley has worked with a num­ber of ap­pren­tices over the years and said it was re­ward­ing see­ing them be­come suc­cess­ful trades­man.

He has also worked on some ma­jor projects in Mata­mata, in­clud­ing the light­ing of the race­track.

‘‘We would like to thank all our cus­tomers who sup­ported us dur­ing our time in the elec­tri­cal in­dus­try,’’ he said.

Mr and Mrs Rom­ley plan to spend time ex­plor­ing the South Is­land, as well as Europe, and are also look­ing for­ward to fit­ting in some more golf.
