Matamata Chronicle - - News -

Healthy options: The Chip Group’s Matamata Town Makeover Training Seminar was held at the Memorial Hall recently.

Chip Group training and education manager Kate Underwood said everything went really well.

‘‘In many of the stores who had staff present at the seminar, you will notice the posters up in their shop windows stating: ‘We are part of the Matamata Town Makeover’,’’ she said.

‘‘It is our intent to collect a second sample of chips from the trained operators and we hope to see a reduction in fat content from deep-fried chips sold in Matamata.’’
