Get pump­ing for next year’s Raun­gaiti Whanau Games

The Raun­gaiti Whanau Games 2013 com­mit­tee would like to take the op­por­tu­nity to thank and ac­knowl­edge ev­ery sin­gle one of those who sup­ported and helped make our day the success it was – the list goes on and on. We had a lovely day and it was en­joyed by all.

So whanau, get pump­ing and we will

see you all next year. plea­sure of us­ing the fa­cil­i­ties pro­vided for waste dis­posal in Mata­mata. How­ever, we are greatly con­cerned that tourists and lo­cals are us­ing the tap at the fa­cil­ity for drink­ing water. This tap is used for wash­ing out toi­let cas­settes and will be likely con­tam­i­nated, as a test would show. There are no signs to warn of the health dan­gers.

We men­tioned this to the coun­cil some weeks ago and they did not seem to have any con­cern for the gen­eral pub­lic who use the tap. up. How­ever, it is up to the user to en­sure the out­side of the tap is clean be­fore use.
