Mon­day, May 13

Called to an ac­ci­dent in Wa­haroa, where a truck had flipped and landed on rail­way lines.

Fire­fight­ers spent more than an hour cut­ting free a pas­sen­ger who had se­ri­ous in­juries.

Tues­day, May 14

Called to an alarm sound­ing at the Icepak fac­tory in Wa­haroa. No ac­tion needed. Re­sponded to a med­i­cal call on Western St.

Tanker was called to a com­mer­cial prop­erty on Belk Rd to act as a back up.

Called to an alarm ac­ti­va­tion at a Wa­haroa busi­ness. No ac­tion needed. Called to an ac­ci­dent on Old Te Aroha Rd, where a camper­van had rolled. Driver and pas­sen­ger were shaken but un­hurt.

Called to a chim­ney fire on Sta­tion Rd.

Thurs­day, May 16

Called to help a man trapped in a ven­ti­la­tion shaft at Open Coun­try Cheese dairy fac­tory in Wa­haroa. Man was taken to Waikato Hos­pi­tal.

Fri­day, May 17

Re­sponded to re­ports of smoke vis­i­ble near Pohlen Hos­pi­tal. Noth­ing was found. Called to a pub­lic fire alarm at New World Mata­mata.

Sun­day, May 19

Re­sponded to a med­i­cal call where a per­son was in car­diac ar­rest.
