Passenger injured in crash

Called to an accident in Waharoa, where a truck had flipped and landed on railway lines.
Firefighters spent more than an hour cutting free a passenger who had serious injuries.

Called to an alarm sounding at the Icepak factory in Waharoa. No action needed. Responded to a medical call on Western St.
Tanker was called to a commercial property on Belk Rd to act as a back up.
Called to an alarm activation at a Waharoa business. No action needed. Called to an accident on Old Te Aroha Rd, where a campervan had rolled. Driver and passenger were shaken but unhurt.
Called to a chimney fire on Station Rd.

Called to help a man trapped in a ventilation shaft at Open Country Cheese dairy factory in Waharoa. Man was taken to Waikato Hospital.
Friday, May 17
Responded to reports of smoke visible near Pohlen Hospital. Nothing was found. Called to a public fire alarm at New World Matamata.
Sunday, May 19
Responded to a medical call where a person was in cardiac arrest.
