Wacky and weird school day
Matamata Christian School students got creative with their hairstyles last Wednesday for the school’s Wacky Hair Day. The school has a mufti-day each term to raise money for a child they sponsor in Uganda, and this time decided to add a bit of excitement. Children and staff alike were in on the fun, with plenty of colourful and crazy styles on display. Principal Alistair Paterson said the fundraising was teaching the children one of the school’s core values – compassion. Nicola Stewart was there.
