Matamata Chronicle - - News -

As a voter, you know political tickets simply don’t work.

As an independent, I offer you a better choice.

Over my years in local government I’ve always been able to work with anyone.

I understand the importance of listening, considering all of the issues, and making the right decision without the pressure and influence of group voting.

With your vote I will bring to the table my extensive local government experience (former Mayor of the Matamata Piako Dis- trict for 15 years).

I will also bring my lifetime experience as a successful farmer (dairy and sheep on 876 hectares at Tauhei), business owner (financial services company) and as a Major in the Defence Force.

These activities have all required discipline and smart thinking in making the right decisions.

If elected I promise to be active and available, to listen, and to advocate on ward issues.
