Matamata man reality TV star
Matamata man and topless waiter Tai Ford is among the cast in the next season of the reality television series The GC.
Tai is part of Gold Coast- based company Kiwi Rize, a company which provides a professional team of waiters for everything from corporate events to ladies nights.
Alongside New Zealand TV personality Tame Noema, Tai and Kiwi Rize recently finished filming the second season of The GC show, which follows a group of Maori living on Australia’s Gold Coast.
When he’s not starring in reality television shows, Tai is a personal trainer in the Gold Coast.
‘‘I love helping people improve their quality of life and assisting in reaching their goals and achievements. It’s one of the most rewarding jobs," said Tai.
Kiwi Rize Marketing and Operations Manager, Riria Mihaere said Tai has an ‘‘electric personality, with a smile to match.’’
Tai is also appearing in the ‘ Mr Lovalicious’ Competition, a club promotion.
The Kiwi Rize team will be offering their services in New Zealand from November.
Riria believes it is their personalities that set them apart.
‘‘We’re cruisy people who go with the flow and I think people love that about us. We’re taking this to the entertainment scene by offering a classy, relatable and professional male for the event of your choice. Topless is just a bonus,’’ she said.
Tai is described as a natural people person that loves his job.
’’Who wouldn’t want to look good and party with gorgeous ladies?’’ he said.
Tai, as well as Tame Noema and Kiwi Rize director Paora Taukamo, will be heading to New Zealand on October 23 to be involved in the launch of the new season of The GC.
