Hands-on fun as kids learn arts, crafts

More than 60 chil­dren kept busy in the school hol­i­days mak­ing ev­ery­thing from pipecleaner mon­sters to lit­tle wooden trac­tors. The Crafts and Cre­ations hol­i­day pro­gramme was run over three days at the Mata­mata Bap­tist Church. Ac­tiv­i­ties in­cluded wood­work, mon­ster mak­ing, card and photoframe dec­o­rat­ing, and other arts and crafts. Ni­cola Stewart went to check it out.
