Fete offers stalls and more
Grab your girlfriends and head to Matamata for the best Ladies Day Out this summer.
The Piako Fete is being held on Friday, November 15 at Daltons Plantation and will host an eclectic mix of high-quality stalls along with demonstrations, food and drink, a fashion show and live music.
‘‘Piako Fete is all about ladies having a great day out. We’ve rounded up fashion, beauty, cuisine, gardening and shopping against Daltons Planta- tion’s backdrop of 10 acres of beautiful landscaped display gardens,’’ said organiser Lynsey Champion.
Among the demonstrators are top fashion stylist Megan Maher from Repertoire and Jill Mulvaney from Alembics, which promotes distilling essential oils in handcrafted copper stills.
They will be joined by World Organics Skincare, The Nukes Ukulele Band and dozens of stallholders offering exclusive shopping opportunities including plants, clothing and crafts.
Advance tickets are $19, available from eventfinder. co. nz ($ 25 at the gate). A donation from profits will go to the Waikato Breast Cancer Trust.
Gratefully received: Wally Henderson, Kevin Curtis, Alan Munro, Janelle Burnside, Matthew Hart, Carolyn Osborne and Judith Challis.
