Fete of­fers stalls and more

Grab your girl­friends and head to Mata­mata for the best Ladies Day Out this sum­mer.

The Pi­ako Fete is be­ing held on Fri­day, Novem­ber 15 at Dal­tons Plan­ta­tion and will host an eclec­tic mix of high-qual­ity stalls along with demon­stra­tions, food and drink, a fash­ion show and live mu­sic.

‘‘Pi­ako Fete is all about ladies hav­ing a great day out. We’ve rounded up fash­ion, beauty, cui­sine, gar­den­ing and shop­ping against Dal­tons Planta- tion’s back­drop of 10 acres of beau­ti­ful land­scaped dis­play gar­dens,’’ said or­gan­iser Lynsey Cham­pion.

Among the demon­stra­tors are top fash­ion stylist Me­gan Ma­her from Reper­toire and Jill Mul­vaney from Alem­bics, which pro­motes dis­till­ing es­sen­tial oils in hand­crafted cop­per stills.

They will be joined by World Or­gan­ics Skin­care, The Nukes Ukulele Band and dozens of stall­hold­ers of­fer­ing ex­clu­sive shop­ping op­por­tu­ni­ties in­clud­ing plants, cloth­ing and crafts.

Ad­vance tick­ets are $19, avail­able from eventfinder. co. nz ($ 25 at the gate). A dona­tion from prof­its will go to the Waikato Breast Can­cer Trust.
