Matamata Chronicle - - News -

Six charitable organisations have benefited from a token promotion run by Anchor, Fonterra and New World Matamata.

As part of the Growing Communities initiative, the Matamata Community Health Shuttle, Matamata Plunket, Matamata Volunteer Fire Brigade, Pohlen Hospital, Matamata College and Matamata Primary each received a portion of $4000.

Customers who bought any Anchor product from New World were given one red token to place in the slot of each charitable organisation of their choice.

Representatives from each organisation thanked New World Matamata for their donation and all agreed that they were so appreciative of any funds they received.

New World Matamata owner Matthew Hart said it was a pleasure to help out charitable organisations who do so much for the Matamata community.
