Concert raises daughter’s medical funds
The daughter of part-time Matamata music teacher Leigh Vidamo is well on her way to receiving the vital treatment she needs after a fundraising concert in Matamata, headlined by X Factor New Zealand stars Gap 5, raised $4000. Threeyear-old Blues Vidamo was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in September last year and the Vidamo family plan to go to the Philippines, where Blues will be assessed by doctors and a therapy programme created for her.
Mrs Vidamo thanked all those involved with the organisation of the event.
The concert was at Matamata College and more than 150 people attended.
