Did you sit for your test that day?

Well-known driving instructor Wayne Holden believes there are up to 10 people in Matamata who unfairly failed their restricted licence test about three years ago.

He is now wanting to find the people and try and rectify the situation.

Mr Holden said for more than 10 years, he was one of the main licence officers in Matamata.

On this particular day, a relief licence officer from Hamilton performed the licence testing.

All of them failed in the same spot for not proceeding and turning left onto Burwood Rd from Racecourse Rd. This was before the current give way rules came into effect.

‘‘I thought I would let the system sort itself out but it hasn’t so I’m hoping to find the people who were affected and some how put this right,’’ he said.

If you believe you maybe one of the people affected please call Mr Holden on 0800 855 7521.
