Lions work appreciated

Supporting our community: Matamata Lions poured another $11,000 into the coffers of local organisations last week. President Warren Feek presented cheques for $4500 to both Pohlen Hospital and the Matamata Volunteer Fire Brigade as a result of their annual fertiliser drive. He also presented a further $2000 to the Westpac rescue helicopter to help fund important equipment.
