Rangers march on to na­tion­als

Kaimai Rangers Leisure Marchers will be head­ing to Nel­son on Fri­day, March 7 to at­tend the 22nd Leisure Marchers Na­tion­als.

Kaimai Rangers have al­ready proudly dis­played their colours of pur­ple and black at dis­play days in Auck­land, Palmer­ston North, New Ply­mouth, Welling­ton, Hamil­ton, Tau­ranga, Napier, Mt Maun­ganui, Taupo and Dunedin.

They have also held two suc­cess­ful dis­play days at home in Mata­mata at the UMS Rugby Club.

The club has been fundrais­ing over the past few months to cover flights, ac­com­mo­da­tion and trans­port for the na­tional com­pe­ti­tion with mar­ket days, paper runs, raf­fles and garage sales.

They would like to thank their fam­i­lies, friends, helpers and spon­sors for all of their sup­port so far.

They will be hold­ing a garage sale at 25 Rata St this Satur­day, Fe­bru­ary 22 from 8am and hope the com­mu­nity will come and take a look be­fore head­ing off to Breed­ers’ Stakes Rac­ing Day.
