Dog tri­als a mile­stone

The Pu­taruru- Ti­rau- Mata­mata Sheep Dog Trial Club is host­ing its 75th an­nual trial next week.

The event will run over two days on Thurs­day and Fri­day, Fe­bru­ary 27 and 28, with an 8am start each day.

It is be­ing held at the Kakahu Hills farm at 483 Kakahu Rd, Oko­roire and is open to the pub­lic.

The club en­cour­ages mem­bers of the com­mu­nity to come check out the ac­tion.

Food and drinks will be avail­able on site and en­try is free.

Club mem­bers would like to thank the land own­ers, spon­sors, and ev­ery­one who has made the event pos­si­ble.
