Local MP Lindsay Tisch encourages Matamata people aged 12 to 24 to apply for the Ministry of Youth Development’s Youth Week 2014 Awards.

The awards recognise outstanding young people over these four categories: Leadership, Change Maker, Giving Back and Working for Young People.

‘‘ By volunteering and leading significant projects in our community, young people are not only making a positive contribution, they are building essential skills and attributes for employment,’’ he said.
