Passengers in fist fight after Walton car crash
Police attended a crash on Piakoiti Rd near Walton. The 17 year old female driver was checked for alcohol. The two intoxicated male passengers were involved in a fight with each other.
Two Estonian tourists had all their possessions taken after their vehicle was broken into at the Wairere Falls carpark. This included laptops, cell phones, backpacks full of their clothing, wallets, cash and a passport. Police said they find this very disappointing. A Walton man had his license suspended for 28 days and will appear in Morrinsville District Court after being recorded driving at 156km/hour in a 100 km/hr zone. Police are concerned
