Fire crew put out pal­lets that were on fire at the Ware­house. On the same day a fire crew put out a veg­e­ta­tion fire on Tui St.

The bri­gade at­tended a mo­tor ve­hi­cle ac­ci­dent on the lower Kaimai Range to help with traf­fic con­trol and a wash-down of the road. No-one was trapped in the car. Two women, one from Whakatane and the other from Tau­ranga, were taken to Tau­ranga hos­pi­tal after a two-car ac­ci­dent hap­pened on SH29 about 3.30pm.

A fire crew also as­sisted in a med­i­cal call­out in Hin­uera on the same day.
