Po­lice in­ves­ti­gat­ing an his­tor­i­cal bur­glary ar­rested an 18-year-old male.

A male was as­saulted and re­quired med­i­cal at­ten­tion. Po­lice are fol­low­ing lines of in­quiry.

Po­lice at­tended a one-ve­hi­cle crash on Tau­ranga Rd where there were no in­juries. On the same day a stolen ve­hi­cle was lo­cated and three young peo­ple were re­ferred to youth aid.

De­cem­ber 13

A Rawhiti Ave ad­dress was bur­gled and a hand­bag and wal­let were stolen. The hand­bag was re­cov­ered.

De­cem­ber 14

Po­lice at­tended three sep­a­rate car ac­ci­dents on the Kaimai Range. The first was a on­eve­hi­cle crash with no in­juries. The sec­ond was a three-ve­hi­cle crash with no in­juries and the last was a one-ve­hi­cle crash with no in­juries.

Mata­mata po­lice would also like to re­mind peo­ple they will con­tinue with their check­points for al­co­hol, speed and li­censes un­til New Year.
