Dedicated long service recognised

Matamata Chronicle - - Happy New Year -

Charmaine Donaldson has been recognised by her peers and the Heart Foundation for years of dedicated service.

In a special ceremony last week, the Matamata woman was thanked by not only HeartFit Matamata, but by the Heart Foundation for more than 10 years of service.

HeartFit Matamata said as the group’s co-ordinator and a well respected member of the community, Donaldson was their voice. ‘‘She has put a lot of her time into this,’’ a spokesperson said.

Donaldson said she does enjoy being involved with HeartFit and will keep going for as long as she was able.
