A story in the April 15 edi­tion of the Mata­mata Chron­i­cle about a Waikato man ac­cused of de­fraud­ing soft­ware in­vestors con­tained an er­ror in one of the charges.

Brian Jef­frey Duffell pleaded not guilty to charges of know­ingly be­ing party to a com­pany with in­tent to de­fraud and with in­tent to ob­tain pe­cu­niary ad­van­tage us­ing a Trade Me clas­si­fied in­quiry know­ing it to have been al­tered and us­ing a Quick Of­fice Pro Li­cence Agree­ment for pe­cu­niary ad­van­tage.

The April 15 story stated he pleaded guilty to those charges.

The er­ror is re­gret­ted.
