Quilters passing on their warmth
Matamata Patchwork and Quilters have come together to sew labels onto more than 600 quilts that are now bound for Vanuatu.
The group has been coordinated by local woman Caroline Mason, who put the call out throughout the country for donated quilts after she saw a need in cyclone-ravaged Vanuatu.
The quilts then travelled to Auckland, where they were put on board the P&O Pacific Pearl, which is due to arrive in Vanuatu on April 25.
