PO­LICE Drunk scares oc­cu­pants

June 4

Some­one has tried to steal a Mazda ve­hi­cle from a Bur­wood Rd ad­dress. It was parked on the front yard. The driver’s door was forced open and the car had been searched and the ig­ni­tion bar­rel had been tam­pered with. Po­lice be­lieve an at­tempt to take it had been made.

June 5

A 29- year- old man was ar­rested for threat­en­ing be­hav­iour and pos­ses­sion of metham­phetamine. He ap­peared in Mor­rinsville Dis­trict Court.

June 7

A house un­der con­struc­tion on Tower Rd was burgled and 31 bags of earth wool in­su­la­tion, in white and green wrap­ping, was taken. Five bags were lo­cated on Wardville Rd. A stove and a range­hood were taken.Scaf­fold­ing and a drop saw were taken.

Po­lice are seek­ing two peo­ple who were seen out­side the prop­erty the day be­fore. They were driv­ing a dark blue 4WD, pos­si­bly a Pa­jero, Big Horn or Dis­cov­ery. It was a square, old model and had a tan­dem trailer at­tached. Po­lice be­lieve the of­fend­ers are part of the build­ing in­dus­try.

Peo­ple who were camp­ing in horse trucks on a farm on Henry Wat­son Rd found a fuel tank emp­tied and a horse truck bro­ken into and a wal­let and drinks taken.

Po­lice are seek­ing a lo­cal in­tox­i­cated male who at 3am banged on a ranch slider door on Wrigley Pl and star­tled the oc­cu­pants. The of­fender is de­scribed as Cau­casian and about 30 years old. He looked in­side and left when asked to. Po­lice be­lieve he had thought it was an­other house.
