Rubbish bags now available

Matamata Chronicle - - News -

If you are a kerbside rubbish and recycling collection customer, you would have received a voucher in the mail again this year, entitling you to one year’s supply of rubbish bags (52 bags). This year’s voucher is printed on pink card. If you have not yet collected your rubbish bags, you can call in to any Matamata-Piako District Council office between 8am- 5pm, Monday to Friday. All you need to do is present the pink voucher. Vouchers are specific to each property so you need to bring in a voucher for each property you are collecting bags for.

Jackie Diprose attended a Matamata College assembly last week to show her appreciation for

funds donated to her daughter Kate by college students. A total of $1729 was raised by the students shaving heads and cutting off pony tails recently. The

Diproses started a givealittle page to help raise funds so they can be with Kate as much as

possible while she battles leukaemia for a second time.
