Matamata Chronicle - - News/opinion -

What a spectacular range of tree displays with a stylish edge, and a feast for all our senses. A truly magical visual, sound, smell and taste delight was then enjoyed by us as we stopped to natter about just how creative so many people in Matamata are.

So much to see! There was always another room with different themes. The intricate work was breathtaking. The venue was superb. Our congratulations must go to the many creative organisers led by Jill Sanson-Emerton, all talented participants who literally made it all, and the many – both out front and behind the scenes – helpers. You are all Christmas stars! We went away wanting to remember everything. Thank you for sharing all your talents in this truly stunning and memorable way.

Roll on 2017 when we can come again and support such a worthy cause again. Pholen Hospital, child cancer and the community must surely be winners from this event.
