Matamata Chronicle - - Your Paper, Your Place - Teresa

What a great event last week’s business awards were. As detailed on the front page, a number of local businesses won awards at the district-wide event. A big congratulations must go to COMAG, Jersey Girl Organics, Plumb.Co, Life Pharmacy and all the other finalists. It’s great to get together as a business community to celebrate success and achievement. This was topped off with fantastic speakers in House of Travel’s Carol Sutton and Contiki founder John Anderson. I, and many others I’m sure, left truly inspired to take on the world and live life to the full. Another event which made me happy this past week was attending a performance of Wanted One Body. The show features very talented locals and was a true demonstration of what small towns can do. With help from a few Te Aroha locals, Matamata thespians put on a fantastic show and should be commended for their hard work and dedication. The show continues at the Little Theatre until Saturday. Be sure not to miss out.
